Eighty people from West Bengal, Orissa and Bihar were duped by a Mumbai-based agency Tania International in promise of jobs in Singapore. They were all short of any idea that the dream of making career in Singapore would turn in such a nightmare for them.
On Friday, at the last moment while they were heading to Singapore, scheduled departure at 12.45am, they came to know that the agency that promised jobs charging Rs 80,000 to Rs 1.2 lakh from each candidate had actually hoodwinked them. Before checking in while their PNR number was fed into the system, the tickets were found to be fake. Same for the two months visa. ..............................
